Hello.

I’m a photoblogger, an investor, a hobby cook, a father of three, a recovering punk, a reader of books, and frequent commenter.

My blog can be found at http://www.westernflatline.com/ please stop by and say hi.

Unfortunately, I’m traveling a lot these days. My family and I have left Los Angeles, and are living between New York and Berlin right now - and those aren’t even the places where business takes us. You will find that the images are from all over the world, and not in the order that I was there. It’s really a question of when I can work on them and post them. Fortunately Lufthansa has on-board WiFi for those brutal 12-hour flights from California or Asia to Europe. There is a lot of pictures of airports and planes, it’s the nature of my environments right now…

A note about the name: The Western Flatline is a salute to The Dixie Flatline, an interesting character in my favorite book. My whole life had some West in it: Born and raised in West Berlin, boarding school just West of London, and then university on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Until recently I was living in West LA, but I just moved back to Berlin.
